  • Students after admission to Undergraduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes are assigned to teachers for counselling and guidance.
  • Orientation Programme for students is organized in each College at College level.
  • Semester Progress report of every student is sent to their parents by advisors.
  • Students’ advisement for foreign study and scholarship is provided.
  • The University has a full-fledged Placement Cell under the Dean Student Welfare to arrange for campus interviews for placement of graduate and post-graduate students.
  • The cell also counsels students on the availability of scholarships, avenues for higher studies and career opportunities.

The faculty members of the university take regularly extra classes for providing guidance to students for JRF, SRF and NET examination of ICAR and several other examinations. Each department has developed model question bank to help the students. In addition to the above, the students are also subjected to:

We produce highly skilled, competent and qualified human resource every year in the form of Agriculture/Horticulture graduates and postgraduates and doctorates. Ever since the establishment of this university in the year 2008, different institutions, e.g. Nationalized banks, Government departments, Cooperatives, NGOs, Corporate sector, Agro-based MNCs etc have selected our students (over 1767 in number), for senior and middle order jobs, who were pursuing their graduate degree and post-graduate degree programmes in different subjects
